We hope you are all safe and well and enjoying the good weather.

We had planned to have a sponsored walk before the end of term to raise much needed funds for our school but due to current restrictions we cannot run this event as planned. However, the funds will still be needed.

As our teachers and Board of Governors try to plan for the return of our children to school in August/September there will be additional equipment and resources needed to keep our children and all the staff safe however the Education Authority have confirmed that there will be no increase in the budget provided.

So, we have decided to have a remote sponsored walk. We hope you will all join in with your family. We would love your kids to put on their Richmond uniform and do a 2 mile walk on Friday 19th or Saturday 20th June and then send us a photograph to Richmondpsg99@gmail.com by Wednesday 24th June. We will compile the photos all together and make a video which will be shared on facebook. PLEASE NOTE : BY SENDING YOUR PICTURE YOU ARE GIVING CONSENT FOR IT TO BE SHARED ON FACEBOOK.

We would love our new P1s and their families to join us as they prepare to the Richmond family. We want this event to be an opportunity for everyone to get involved, but also use it as an opportunity to raise some funds specifically to be used to make our school as safe as possible from covid-19.

We understand for some people covid-19 has had a significant impact on your family income so even if you can’t afford to give financially please join us in our walk and send us a picture

Well done to all our fantastic pupils - narrators, actors, instrumentalists and singers in our Christmas Assembly this morning. Lovely to see the hall filled to capacity with family and friends to encourage them.
